Overview

Introduced in 1987 by Commodore, the Amiga OCS/ECS was a computer system. It is grouped with amiga titles in EmulationStation. Its platform tag is amiga for proper filtering.

Technical specifications

  • CPU: Motorola 68000 running at approximately 7.16 MHz (NTSC) / 7.09 MHz (PAL).
  • Memory: 512 KB Chip RAM standard with easy expansions up to several megabytes.
  • Display: OCS/ECS chipset providing 32 colors (4096 palette) at 320×256 or 64 colors in HAM mode with interlaced support.
  • Sound: Paula chip powering four-channel stereo PCM sampling up to 28 kHz.
