Videopac+ G7400¶
Overview¶
Introduced in 1983 by Philips, the Videopac+ G7400 was a console system. Its platform tag is videopac for proper filtering.
Technical specifications¶
- CPU: General Instrument CP1610 running at 1.79 MHz.
- Memory: 1 KB RAM plus 16 KB of VRAM linked to the TMS9928 video chip.
- Display: TMS9928A VDP providing 256×192 resolution with 16 colors and hardware sprites.
- Sound: AY-3-8912 PSG delivering three square-wave channels and noise.
