WonderSwan

Overview

Introduced in 1999 by Bandai, the WonderSwan was a portable system. Its platform tag is wonderswan for proper filtering.

Technical specifications

  • CPU: NEC V30MZ-compatible core clocked at 3.072 MHz.
  • Memory: 64 KB RAM with 8 KB video RAM supporting grayscale graphics.
  • Display: 224×144 reflective LCD in four shades of gray with flicker-free hardware sprite drawing.
  • Sound: Mono audio engine with two square-wave generators and noise channel.
